Licorice and spice unfold in the chewy mouth, with a decadent milk chocolate infused finish.\u00a0 89pts. WE!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Urban UCO Malbec-Tempranillo blend from Argentina ($19.99) &#8211; <\/strong>91 points Robert Parker&#8217;s Wine Advocate &#8211; &#8220;The 2011 Urban Uco is a blend of 50% Tempranillo and 50% Malbec that spent 3 months in oak. Deep purple in color, with an inviting bouquet of smoke, blackberry, and blueberry, on the palate it is loaded with flavor, depth, and length. This stunning overachiever may be the finest value in my Argentina tastings. Buy it by the case. (12\/ 2011)&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Santa Barbara Winery Chardonnay from California ($18.99) &#8211; <\/strong>\u00a0In the glass the chardonnay displayed a light golden tint which indicated some oak barrel fermentation.\u00a0 Bright fruit notes of apricot, peach, green apple, and nuances of pineapple and vanilla emerged from the glass providing an aromatic and perfumed experience.\u00a0 On the palate, the wine was a dry, moderately flavored wine with a ripe fruit profile and lingering warmth.\u00a0 The ripe flavors of tropical fruit such as apricot and pineapple and the warmth caused by the alcohol level were characteristic expected from a wine native of Santa Barbara County which is a wine growing area with abundant sunshine and warm weather conditions.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Carl Reh Moscato from Italy ($11.99) &#8211; <\/strong>\u00a0&#8220;This deliciously sweet and spicy white wine has mouth-watering aromas of muscat and honey.\u00a0 This wine is an ideal accompaniment with spicy Asian cuisine or luscious deserts.&#8221;\u00a0 <strong><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Chateau La Vin Turns One!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>October 14th is our one year anniversary and we are planning a weekend celebration starting next Thursday! Every day we will be tasting one of our better bottles of wine!\u00a0 On Sunday the 14th,\u00a0 I will open the 3 Liter bottle of Peter Lehmann&#8217;s Layer&#8217;s wine!
