Rutherford Wine at Thursday’s Tasting!<\/strong><\/p>\n

Gary Hoyd from Rutherford Wine Company will be in the shop on Thursday to taste several of his wines.\u00a0 We will taste Chardonnays, Cabernet Sauvignons, Zinfandels, a Pinot Noir and a great blend.\u00a0 Mark your calendar!\u00a0\u00a0 It should be another great event at Chateau La Vin!\u00a0 More details to follow as the date gets closer.<\/p>\n

Live Jazz Wednesday!<\/strong><\/p>\n

Live Jazz Thursday is moving to Wednesday night next week.\u00a0 It would be too much to have both the special tasting and jazz the same night.\u00a0 Keith and Ron have agreed to come in on Wednesday night and play for all of you who cannot make it out on Thursdays.\u00a0 Music starts at 7:30.\u00a0 Stop in and taste some great wine with fantastic Jazz!<\/p>\n

Tonight’s Tasting!<\/strong><\/p>\n

Chateau Sylvain Raymond White Bordeaux from France ($12.99)<\/strong> – \u00a0The 2009 Chateau Sylvain Raymond is a white Bordeaux from the Graves Appellation.\u00a0 French wine makers often do not display the blend of grapes on their bottles.\u00a0 The Chateau Sylvain Raymond is no exception.\u00a0 White Bordeaux wine can be a blend of Semillon, Sauvignon Blanc, Muscadelle and Ugni Blanc.\u00a0 This wine certainly has Sauvignon Blanc in it and I can taste a little of the Muscadelle too.\u00a0 It is dry but fruity, crisp and leaves a delightful fresh impression on the palate.\u00a0 A very refreshing summer wine!<\/p>\n

Campo Viejo Tempranillo from Spain ($10.99)<\/strong> –\u00a0 Deep cherry color that suggests a young, vibrant wine. Rich and intense ripe red fruit with oak nuances and subtle tones of vanilla and sweet spices. On the palate it is true to the nose, perfumed, soft, and fresh with a long length on the palate that leaves memories of red fruit, vanilla, and cocoa. Pairs perfectly with pasta, poultry and fresh light cheeses, grilled chicken, and small bites.<\/p>\n

Last Bottle Blowout continues!<\/strong><\/p>\n
