\"Lucky<\/a>It looks like another great week here at Chateau La Vin!\u00a0 I got in a new \u00a0everyday Pinot Noir and I will open it up to taste today along with another bottle to be determined! \u00a0Live Jazz is confirmed for Thursday night and I’m working on some live music for the UnWine Garden on Friday!\u00a0 It’s time for a Last Bottle Blowout at Chateau La Vin!\u00a0 Finally, I’m extending my weekday hours for Summer.<\/p>\n

Lucky Star Pinot Noir from California ($11.99)<\/strong> –\u00a0 I tasted this wine on my last trip to Chicago and was just able to get it in the shop.\u00a0 I have been looking for a new good everyday Pinot Noir at this price range and this has exceeded my expectations!\u00a0 \u00a0The wine boasts aromas and flavors of cranberry and ripe raspbe rry, a hint of toastiness, and a crisp yet silky finish. The wine pairs well with herb roasted chicken, wood-fire grilled salmon or saut\u00e9ed wild mushrooms. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.<\/p>\n

\u00a0Jazz Thursday Night!<\/strong><\/p>\n

Ron and Keith will be back Thursday Night to play some more great Jazz.\u00a0 Carol hopefully will be able to join them too!\u00a0 It is always a fun night!\u00a0 They plan on starting about 7:30.\u00a0 Get here early for a good seat!\u00a0 Look for tomorrows email for an announcement about music Friday night in the UnWine Garden.<\/p>\n

Last Bottle Blowout!<\/strong><\/p>\n

I have more new wine coming in and need to make room for it. \u00a0We are clearing out some “last” bottles of a variety of wines.\u00a0 \u00a0I have a table set up with great wines all at 10% off the regular price.\u00a0 These are some great wines that have all but sold out.\u00a0 Stop in and get a few bottles before they are gone!<\/p>\n

Summer Hours!<\/strong><\/p>\n

With the festive summer feeling and daylight lasting later into the evening, many of you have wanted to stop in for a glass of wine after 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday or Wednesday.\u00a0 In fact, last night we had people here until 9:00.\u00a0 So, for the summer I will extend my Tuesday and Wednesday hours to at least 9:00 p.m.\u00a0 If you are in the mood for a glass of wine or a beer after your kids (or your) sporting event or other activity, Chateau La Vin will now be open!\u00a0 Remember, if the lights are on, we are open!<\/p>\n
