We often put the juice and the grape skins in contact to extract and unleash the exquisite Gewürztraminer aromas locked in the skin. The juice is then cold temperature fermented over 20 days. We do not use any oak and do not put the wine through malolactic fermentation. The wine is crisp with a slight residual sugar of 1.7% with flavors of lychee, melon and tangerine. Our Gewurztraminer is an exceptional match with spicy Indian food, lemon chicken and blue cheeses.

Cheese!

We have a new supplier of cheese and we received our first delivery today! We have six new cheeses that pair great with wine. In fact two of the cheese packages are a selection of three different cheeses matched perfectly, one for a red wine and another for a white wine! We have two goudas, Vermont Cheddar and Herbs & Garlic Goat Cheese! These are some fantastic tasting cheeses!

Wines of Italy!

Emiliano Morando the Export Director for Vinchio Vaglio Serra will be in the shop on Wednesday, April 25th from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. We will be tasting eight different wines from Italy. He will pour red, white, still, D’Asti, Dry and Sweet. Something for everyone! Make sure to stop in for a taste! Stay tuned for a listing of all the wines to be served. We will also have a special on the wines he will be tasting.

Like us on Facebook!

We now have a new cheese supplier! Six new cheeses that go great with wine! It’s Friday! Let’s taste three reds wines and a white this evening! Mark your calendars for our next big…

[1

post-455","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-uncategorized
["GET
