Aromatic, with scents of apricot and peach. Fresh fruit flavors perfectly balanced by a racy acidity and mineral character.\u00a0 This Riesling is a little dryer than many of you are used to. A very good wine!<\/p>\n<p>Soave Classico Capitel Tenda from Italy ($15.99) &#8211; &#8220;The 2009 Soave Classico Capitel Tenda is quite pretty and understated in its white peaches, flowers, almonds and mint. This fresh, perfumed Soave is an excellent choice for drinking over the next year or two. Anticipated maturity: 2011-2013. &#8221; &#8211; The Wine Advocate<\/p>\n<p>Busi Chianti Rufina from Italiy ($15.99) &#8211; Fresh, fruity, with classic tart cherry.\u00a0 Fermentation in stainless steel at controlled temperatures for 7 to 8 days, with an additional 3 to 4 days on the skins. The wine is then racked and goes through malolactic. The very experienced management team has selected some of the finest producers from South Africa, Australia, New Zealand and Argentina.<\/p>\n<p>Don Clemens is currently the Midwest Regional Manager for Southern Starz. Don&#8217;s career in the wine business has included retail and restaurant management, wholesale distribution, regional sales and even winery sales management. His love of wine has led him through many challenging and rewarding opportunities, including a stint as sommelier at one of Chicago&#8217;s leading restaurants (where his wine list won a Wine Spectator &#8220;Grand Award&#8221;).
