It happened! I have been challenged by Who Dat’s to attend their ALS Ice Bucket Challenge. I’m not the only one either. It sounds like there will be a crowd at Who Dat’s from 5 – 8 on this evening. If you want to see this wine guy get soaked, come on out to Who Dat’s! Rumor is that the Columbia Fire Department will be there???<\/span><\/p>\n

After the “fun” at Who Dat’s, come back to Chateau La Vin for some great Jazz! Ron & Keith will be back with more great music! They start at 7:30! Let’s start the Labor Day Weekend with a bang! See you Thursday!<\/span><\/p>\n

Lisa Jones Live and Fifty Shades of Grey Tasting on Friday!<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Yes, we just got in Fifty Shades of White Silk & Grey Red Satin! We will be tasting them on Friday night!<\/span><\/p>\n

\"50<\/a><\/p>\n

Fifty Shades of Grey White Silk<\/strong> – Floral aromatics of lychee, honey and pear lead offthis white blend, they are tempered by flavors of crisp grapefruit, mineral and lush pear with a faint hint of butterscotch. White Silk is a blend of primarily Sauvignon Blanc with a little Gewurztraminer. This wine was fermented cool, under 50 degrees F, and aged in stainless steel to preserve its delicate and rich character.<\/span><\/p>\n

Fifty Shades of Grey Red Satin<\/strong> – This decadent blend has flavors of black cherry, cocoa powder, creamy caramel and vanilla, leather and clove spice. Red Satin is a blend of primarily Petite Sirah and Syrah, it was aged in a combination of new and seasoned French oak barrels.<\/span><\/p>\n

Lisa is coming back to Chateau La Vin for another great performance! Everyone has really enjoyed her music. She plays acoustic guitar. Her songs include: James Taylor, Carole King, Sheryl Crow, Bonnie Raitt, Janis Joplin, Bob Dylan, Neil Young, Loggins & Messina, Alanis Morrissette, America, Simon & Garfunkel\/Paul Simon, Buffalo Springfield, Tracy Chapman, Melissa Etheridge, Fleetwood Mac\/Stevie Nicks, 4NonBlondes, Miranda Lambert, Kenny Chesney\/Grace Potter, The Eagles, KANSAS, Adele, The Beatles & Tom Petty. I’m excited to have her back in the shop! She starts at 7:30 hopefully in the Wine Garden.<\/span><\/p>\n
