Possibly the single greatest dry red wine value in the world, this is an unbelievable wine. And don&#8217;t complain that you can&#8217;t find any, as there are 15,000 cases available, and any wine retailer worth his weight should be stockpiling this wine next to the cash register. Its deep ruby\/purple color is followed by classic aromas of kirsch liqueur intermixed with raspberries, loamy soil and flowers. This medium to full-bodied wine possesses remarkable depth, an expansive texture and wonderful freshness as well as purity. On taste alone, this beauty could easily sell for $30-50 a bottle. I don&#8217;t understand how anyone can make wines this good to sell at this price, but somehow importer Jorge Ordonez finds them.&#8221; <b>90 Pts. Very intense on the nose with cola, red berry and mineral notes also a slight appearance of white pepper.&#8221; <b>88 Pts. Best Buy Wine Enthusiast.<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #993300;\"><b>Tres Pico Borsao Garnacha from Spain <\/b>&#8211; &#8220;Glass-staining purple. Lively, faintly medicinal aromas of cherry, blueberry and licorice, plus hints of smoky herbs and flowers. Juicy and expansive, offering sweet, deeply pitched bitter cherry and dark berry flavors supported by a taut spine of acidity and fine-grained tannins. Finishes with powerful spicy thrust and suggestions of candied flowers and woodsmoke. This could pass for a northern Rhone wine, and a really good one at that.&#8221;\u00a0 <b>91 Points International Wine Cellar.<\/b>\u00a0 &#8220;This rich red is brimming with raspberry jam, chocolate, licorice and wild herb flavors. Firm tannins are well-integrated and buoyed by orange peel acidity. A lively modern style.
