18 Jul More Heat and Jazz is on for Thursday night!
When is this heat going to end??? It’s cool in here at Chateau La Vin and we have a couple great wines to taste today!
Ferrari-Carano Pinot Grigio from California ($18 .99) – This is a favorite of the shop and a great hot weather wine! With its delicate aromas and delicious flavors, our 2011 Ferrari-Carano Pinot Grigio is a perfect, light, white wine for sipping or as an aperitif. This wine has aromas of lime, white peach, green apple, mineral and a touch of honeysuckle. Clean, refreshing flavors of lemon and honeydew melon, nice acidity, a round mouthfeel and a crisp, lingering finish.
Tiziano Chianti Riserva from Italy ($14.99) – The “Riserva” designation signifies that a Chianti is of a good vintage and has been aged for at least three years, making it among the finest wines in Italy. Our Chianti Riserva is made from 100% handpicked Sangiovese grapes. The color is intense ruby-red and has a sweet, full, fruity aroma with elegant notes of spice. The flavor is smooth and lingering with a fruit finish. It best accompanies rich first courses, grilled meats and medium matured cheeses.
Live Jazz on Thursday!
Ron is bringing Brendan to fill in for Keith tomorrow night and it looks like we will have another special guest too! The best saxophone player ever, although I could be slightly biased! It will be another great night of Jazz! I hope you can make it in. Music starts at about 7:30!
