11 Apr Tasting Wednesday Night Wines!
We have two great Wednesday Night Wines to taste today!
Giesen Sauvignon Blanc from Marlborough New Zealand ($13.99) – “Giesen’s 2009 Sauvignon Blanc has pronounced grass and herb aromas with nuances of evergreen trees, lemon slices and green apples. Medium bodied, crisp and dry with very good concentration and a long finish, this great value is a fine example of this style! Drink it now to 2012. ” 87 Pts. The Wine Advocate.
Lorinon Rioja from Spain ($14.99) – Garnet-red of medium depth. Aromas of red fruit, blueberries and liquorish that blend nicely with toasty and vanilla notes from ageing. This vintage is made from 100% Tempranillo, the primary quality grape of the region (and much of Spain).
