17 May New wines to taste and another wine & watercolors class!
New wines for our Friday Tasting!
We have three new wines in the shop to taste today.
Noble House Riesling from Germany ($16.99) – The NOBLE HOUSE wine is a carefully selected, refreshing Riesling wine. It is the proud result of traditional and innovative winemaking. Harvested in the region of Bernkastel, NOBLE HOUSE RIESLING has an agreeable ripe peach and apricot aroma, typical of the Middle Moselle slate terrain. Its finish is long and lingering.
Las Rocas Garnacha Rose from Spain ($19.99) – The deep pink-colored 2012 Las Rocas Rosado offers a fragrant bouquet of strawberry, cherry, and rhubarb leading to a medium-bodied, fleshy wine with tons of flavor, excellent depth, and a vibrant personality. It will be versatile with a wide range of cuisines.
Brancaia TRE Tuscan Blend from Italy ($21.99) – “A pleasing wine with juicy berry and plum character with hints of peaches and chocolate. Medium to light body, with fine tannins and a fresh finish. Savory. A blend as always of Sangiovese, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon.” 90 Points James Suckling.
