This Thursday CROWN is sponsoring a business social open to Men & Women. It’s a great opportunity to meet local business professionals and enjoy a glass of wine, beer or cocktail! Rooster’s Health Food Store is providing free appetizers! It starts at 4:00 pm.
The night gets even better with Ron and Keith back to play some great live Jazz! The music starts at 7:30!
Hilary Scott Duo is back on Friday!
They were a big hit last time they were here so I’m excited to have them back! Hilary Scott is an award-winning singer-songwriter who brings her unique brand of melodic and lyrically memorable indie/pop songs to audiences nationally and internationally. Jeff Dame of Northeast In-Tune has this to say about Hilary and her music: “Hilary has the potential to be as big as the likes of Alanis Morrisette, Tori Amos, or Sheryl Crow. Hilary Scott has been weaving musical and lyrical Americana tapestries extensively across Europe, Asia, and North America for over 10 years with a powerful, soulful voice that once you hear it, you will fall in love with it. In the last year Hilary opened for Chuck Berry toured the UK and West Coast, Midwest, and Southern US and performed at Americana Music Fest in Nashville, TN and Folk Alliance International in Kansas City, MO. She is currently completing her 10th studio album with 8 time Grammy winner Johnny Lee Schell. It’s great to have her back at Chateau La Vin! Music starts at 7:30.
Lisa Jones Live on Saturday!
Lisa is also coming back to Chateau La Vin after a great first performance! She plays acoustic guitar. Her songs include: James Taylor, Carole King, Sheryl Crow, Bonnie Raitt, Janis Joplin, Bob Dylan, Neil Young, Loggins & Messina, Alanis Morrissette, America, Simon & Garfunkel/Paul Simon, Buffalo Springfield, Tracy Chapman, Melissa Etheridge, Fleetwood Mac/Stevie Nicks, 4NonBlondes, Miranda Lambert, Kenny Chesney/Grace Potter, The Eagles, KANSAS, Adele, The Beatles & Tom Petty. I’m excited to have her back in the shop!
Help Wanted!
It is time to add another person to the staff of Chateau La Vin. I am looking for someone to work primarily on Saturday nights. Other nights will be available many weeks too. The person must be over 21. She or he needs to be good with customers, like wine and be willing to work hard to keep the shop running. The person does not need to be a wine expert, but willing to learn! Experience as a bartender or waiter/waitress is a plus too!
