06 Jul What a Beautiful Saturday to Taste Great Wine!
The Wine Garden is open. The weather looks great for tonight. Chateau La Vin has three great wines to taste tonight! Check out tonight’s tasting.
Trenel Macon Villages Chardonnay from France ($20.99) – On a map, the Mâconnais region has the shape of a rectangular spreading 50 Km North to South and about 15 Km East to West. MACON VILLAGES TRENEL results from the blending of various vineyards on Charnay-lès-Mâcon and Farges-les-Mâcon This fine combination bestows both balance and delicate aroma, which are the characteristics of a genuine Chardonnay. Tasting notes: Brilliant light gold color. Fresh fruit aromas of citrus combined with a refreshingly floral nose. The supple, full palate is long and harmonious, ending on a pleasingly lemony note.
Rubus Rose from Spain ($17.99) – 100% Prieto Picudo. Prieto Picudo is a red grape varietal grown around the town of Valdevimbre, in the province of Leon in Spain. Bright clean strawberry rose color. In nose it is intense and fresh, with strawberry aroma and slight citric hints. In mouth it is fresh, strong and tasty emphasizing a delightful tingle due to its carbonic residuals.
Paitin Langhe Nebbiolo from Italy ($30.99) – The “Langhe Paitin” is mainly produced from grapes of nebbiolo, barbera and cabernet sauvignon; it’s appreciable for its fruit and pepper full perfumes, enriched with a rather powerful taste, overflowing with pulp. Concentrated, complex, ripe red fruit, mint, vanilla, sweet oak wood. Taste warm, soft, velvety, fresh, sweet tannins, very long persistence. 92 Pts. RP
