Friday Tasting – Something for Everyone!

Friday Tasting – Something for Everyone!

The weekend is here, so let’s start it off with a great Friday tasting!

We have four great wines to taste today.  This mix has a little something for every palette.  Check out the lineup for tonight!

Tasting 9-20-13

Bricco Riella Moscato D’Asti from Italy ($17.99) – Light, fizzy and delicious. Peach, nectarine, sweet lime and cane sugar playfully mingle on the palate. Sweet but not sticky, perfect for Sunday brunch or to accompany a plate of fresh fruit.

Cloudline Pinot Gris from Oregon ($18.99) – Cloudline’s Pinot Gris is tank-fermented to emphasize the varietal’s freshness, acidity and floral aromatics. Citrus fruits and white flowers are abundant on both the palate and nose. The fine texture matches the light yellow hue.

Decoy Napa County Cabernet Sauvignon from California ($26.99) – This wine displays lovely red and blue fruit aromas, supported by well-integrated accents of oak from barrel aging. On the palate, it is rich and concentrated with abundant dark berry flavors as well as savory black olive, earth and spice notes. Solid tannins offer an excellent foundation for the fruit, and will help this wine to age gracefully.  Blend: 89% Cabernet Sauvignon, 11% Merlot.

Pezzi King Dry Creek Valley Zinfandel from California ($29.99) – Delightful aromatics full of juicy berry pie, vanilla bean and sweet oak. Lush flavors of cherries, violets, and candied cranberries layered on top of spicy pepper are harmonized with velvet tannins that dance on as the finish keeps you enchanted.
