Friday Tasting!

Friday Tasting!

It’s Friday and Halloween is almost here!

We have three great wines to taste tonight including a great wine for your Halloween night!  Stop in for a taste!

Tasting 10-25-13

HalloWeen Apple & Pumpkin Spiced Wine ($14.99) – Honey Crisp Apple/pumpkin wine spiced with cinnamon, nutmeg, clove and fairy dust.  Yes, we said fairy dust.  Not for sale to Transylvania during the full moon…. Notes: Perfect with snack foods. You’ll be the hit of the party!

Placio De Bornos Verdejo ($17.99) – Straw-like yellow color with fresh green tones.  Hugely aromatic, with tropical fruit, tangerine, lemongrass and lemon thyme. Fruity notes with anise and minerals, typical of the Verdejo grape. Full in the mouth, well structured, dense and persistent with a lingering aftertaste. The wine has great length and a delicious mouth-filling richness, and finished with a precise acid cut.

Pezzi King Dry Creek Valley Zinfandel from California ($29.99) – Delightful aromatics full of juicy berry pie, vanilla bean and sweet oak. Lush flavors of cherries, violets, and candied cranberries layered on top of spicy pepper are harmonized with velvet tannins that dance on as the finish keeps you enchanted.

Streetscape Construction

The Streetscape construction project continues.  The hole out front is getting bigger.  Stop in and see the progress!  The easiest way to get here is to come in the back door through the wine garden, but I have been assured that access will be available through the front door too!  It will look fantastic when it is done, but for a time the sidewalk will be in various stages of construction.  Chateau La Vin will be open for the entire project!  Remember, if the lights are on, we are open.  Stop in often and check out the Streetscape construction progress!
