04 Aug No you are not dreaming!
We have two great new wines to taste today and you may have dreams about how good they are after you taste them!
Today we have a new Pinot Noir and red blend that I have gotten multiple requests to bring into the shop. I finally got it in! Stop in and enjoy!
Today’s Tasting!
The Dreaming Tree Crush from California ($15.99) – “For Crush, Dave and I hand-selected a special blend of our favorite varieties to create a red wine that pulls you in with notes of smoky berry and a pop of raspberry jam. Around the dinner table or out on the patio, it’s a wine you’re going to want to share with your favorite people.” –Steve Reeder on his Dave Matthews wine collaboration. I know at least one person who is going to be very happy!
Kings Ridge Pinot Noir from Oregon ($18.99) – The grapes for the Kings Ridge 2009 Oregon Pinot Noir come from vineyards in the renowned Willamette Valley and the Umpqua Valley. The combination of cool and warm climates found in these regions produces wine stacked with intense flavors and aromas. The nose on the 2009 Pinot Noir is loaded with rich dark cherry, plum and toasted hazelnuts. These inviting aromas seamlessly connect to the smooth, rich mouth feel, filled with freshly picked blackberry and plum flavors. The wine is loaded with fruit, which extends into a long finish with fine tannins that give complexity and structure to this wine.
