I hope to see many of you tonight as you visit Columbia’s great businesses! We will be tasting at least these two wines and maybe more if more of you stop in to visit!
Guenoc 2009 Victorian Claret ($9.99) is a complex Bordeaux blend. Dark ruby in color, the wine has a wonderful fruity nose bringing on black cherry, plum, and blueberry aromas. Rich and soft on the palate, the hints of vanilla and nutmeg, from aging in 50% American and French Oak, add to the complexity and the long smooth finish. This is a great price compared to the online prices of $12 to $15!
Tiziano 2009 Pinot Grigio (12.99) Pleasant, balanced, harmonious and fruity wine of good structure with floral notes and hints of pear and apricot.
