Bastianich Pinot Grigio ($19.99) – Perfectly exposed hillside vineyards and rocky soil, located at the crossroads of the Alps and the Adriatic Sea, make all the deference in creating the first Pinot Grigio we are proud to call Bastianich.  “Pinot Grigio should be refreshing and delicious, not thin and acidic! Ripe apple and great minerality on the broad, satisfying palate. ” Tasting notes:  Round and full-bodied with good mineral and acidic structure. Hints of ripe apple and pear.

Zuani Vigne Collio Bianco ($29.99) – A white wine obtained from a blend of native Friulano grapes and international varieties that thrive in Friuli, especially in Collio, with its outstandingly favorable geology, soil types and site climates. The bright yellow hue introduces a soft, complex, fruit-rich nose enhanced by lingering mineral notes. The warm, broad palate echoes the nose, revealing balanced acidity and impressively rich fruit on the long finish.  Friulano, Chardonnay, Sauvignon and Pinot Grigio from vines between fifteen and thirty years old.

Trenel Macon Villages Chardonnay ($20.99) – On a map, the Mâconnais region has the shape of a rectangular spreading 50 Km North to South and about 15 Km East to West. MACON VILLAGES TRENEL results from the blending of various vineyards on Charnay-lès-Mâcon and Farges-les-Mâcon This fine combination bestows both balance and delicate aroma, which are the characteristics of a genuine Chardonnay.  Tasting notes:  Brilliant light gold color. Fresh fruit aromas of citrus combined with a refreshingly floral nose. The supple, full palate is long and harmonious, ending on a pleasingly lemony note.

Lagone Aia Vechia ($21.99) –  60% merlot, 30% cabernet sauvignon and 10% cabernet franc.  Lagone has a warm deep red color close to purple. Delicate aromas of Mediterranean wood and vanilla emphasize the structured and elegant taste with intense notes of wild berries, ripe juicy sour cherries and hints of sweet spices that leave the palate satisfied and pleasantly sweet and dry. Tibor Gál has been able to create a blend marked by the Italian “terroir” together with the “finesse” of a great French red wine. The wine is well structured with a strong and mellow texture. In short, a modern red wine of the best quality. This is uniquely Tuscan but true to its Bordelaise roots.  90 Pts. ST

Ciacci Piccolomini Tuscano Rosso ($19.99) – A blend of estate vineyards including: Massi, San Martino, Conte, Fonte and Vigna Lago.  Fermented in stainless steel and glass concrete vats, with temperatures-controlled via cooling plates and jackets.  Aged for roughly 4-6 months in Slavonian oak barrels and French and American oak barrels.  Fruity, lightly herbal and enriched by hints of spices. This wine is ready to drink, full-bodied, quite soft and well balanced.  85% Sangiovese Grosso, 15% Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah.

Paitin Langhe Nebbiolo ($30.99) – The “Langhe Paitin” is mainly produced from grapes of nebbiolo, barbera and cabernet sauvignon; it’s appreciable for its fruit and pepper full perfumes, enriched with a rather powerful taste, overflowing with pulp.  Concentrated, complex, ripe red fruit, mint, vanilla, sweet oak wood.   Taste warm, soft, velvety, fresh, sweet tannins, very long persistence.  92 Pts. Zardini Valpolicella ($29.99) – Collection and manual selection of the best grapes of Corvina Veronese and Corvinone 70%, Rondinella 30%.  Perfect grapes, very healthy. Natural drying in the loft well ventilated for 20 days. Winemaking in October. De-stemming the grapes. Fermentation at a controlled temperature of 22 ° C. and two manual punching a day.  Maceration for 15 days.  Caterina Zardini: passion for homelands.  An estate dedicated to the strength, courage and tenacity of Caterina Zardini, that still today in its Amarone Classico Riserva and Valpolicella Classico Superiore wines embodies the emotions of a woman who laid the basis for excellence.
