It’s Friday and what better way to start the weekend than some Italian wine with either Morel & Leek Cheese or some Chocolate Cheese!

You have been asking for it for a long time and I finally was able to get some more back in! The delivery came today! New packaging, but the same great cheese! The Morel & Leek Cheese has been a favorite for a long time! If you haven’t tried it, you will be amazed at how good it is! The chocolate cheese is another great, but unusual cheese. It tastes like fudge and as it warms up to room temperature it gets even better. It’s great with red wine!

You have seen her artwork in the shop. On Sunday, November 4th from 2:00 – 5:00 you can meet the artist! Barb Schrieber from Waterloo will be in the shop with more of her artwork! You can ask her about her paintings and learn a lot about the fantastic art she has done! Yes, you can even purchase any of the paintings in the shop plus the ones she is bringing in! We will have a special wine tasting, some cheese & crackers and Zettie’s Confection’s Candy to sample!

Nottola Rosso Di Montepulciano from Italy ($19.99) – Situated in the green countryside of Montepulciano, the Azienda Agricola Nottola was founded in 1992 as the realization of Cavaliere Anterivo Giornarelli’s vision; a winery that produces only the highest quality wines. From the Tuscany region of Italy, this wine is 100% Sangiovese and recieved 89 Pts. from Robert Parker!
Feudo Principi Di Butera Insolia from Italy ($17.99) – Color A clear and bright golden straw-yellow, with faint greenish highlights. Bouquet Broad, with hints of exotic fruit and broom flowers. Flavor Rich and well-balanced, with delicate, sweetish hints of almonds.

Jerry Green from Koerner Distributors will be back in the shop on Wednesday, November 7th for a special tasting! We will be sampling some great wines for your Thanksgiving Day and even a couple of their spirits! More details to come soon!
